They will usually have a sensory processing system that will have a diminished response to sensory stimuli and in turn, seek out activities to increase their sensory modulation and assist them with self-regulating. In other words, they will have a heightened need for sensory input or someone who seeks out different types of sensory experiences to fulfill a sensory need.
